I feel about short stories the way poets feel about poetry -- that at its best, it's the purest expression of music and creativity the language can produce. Unfortunately, I am not always at my best, but I have linked below to a few sample stories that appear elsewhere on the Web. Check them out! Curveball is my contribution to the Amazon.com "Shorts" program, in which you can download short stories for 49 cents just like you can download songs for your iPod. Curveball is a tale about diddling priests, stunted limbs, the ball between Buckner's legs, Reverse the Curse, and Sweet Revenge. Q&O is a silly cross-dressing exploration of post-adolescent angst set in the housekeeping department of a minor hospital, where the main character Imogen (aka Arthur) is trapped in the grip of one of the patients -- as well as in a psychic trap of his own device.
