Scott Pomfret is the author of Since My Last Confession: A Gay Catholic Memoir; Hot Sauce: A Novel; the Q Guide to Wine and Cocktails, and over seventy short stories published in, among other venues, Ecotone, Post Road, New Orleans Review, Fiction International, and Fourteen Hills. After a twenty-five-year legal career, Scott earned his MFA from Emerson College in Boston in December 2025. Scott’s currently at work on a comic queer Know-Nothing alternative history novel set in antebellum New Orleans.
